Nick Brunson
Principal & Managing Director

After a dozen years working with developers, family offices, and private investment firms, Nick started Interface Realty in 2018 to help investment clients plan, transact, manage, and maximize their real assets. He has since expanded the firm’s presence from California to Texas and Georgia.

Having influenced more than $10B in total capital decisions for national firms, public REITs, and private equity, his circle of competence covers the full-cycle of real estate investment:
• Sourcing, underwriting, and feasibility
• Site-selection and facilities roll-out
• Capital markets, capital formation, and credit facilities
• LOI / PSA, due diligence, and transaction
• Zoning, land use, incentives, and entitlement
• Leasing and stabilization strategies
• Asset management and portfolio optimization
• Valuation and recapitalization
• Exit and 1031 exchanges
• Alternative investments access (DST / TIC)

In his current role as advisor, embedded director, and transaction lead, Nick works with operators, investors, developers, and family offices to drive investment plans and steward capital. With broad exposure to multiple asset types, Industrial, Multifamily, and Creative-use have emerged as his core focus. Having worked across several major MSAs in the South, Southeast, and West Coast regions, he has developed a deep network of key industry contacts that support access to real assets, capital markets, and alternative investments.

Nick has negotiated sites leased to national tenants across industrial, logistics, and retail sectors — including Amazon, U-Haul, Herc Rentals, SiteOne Landscape Supply, ABC Supply, and Builders FirstSource. He has procured offers from public REITs such as Prologis and Peakstone, and engaged with public-sector stakeholders such as Invest Atlanta to uncover development incentives and gain municipal support.

In previous roles, Nick has lead acquisitions, portfolio management, asset exchanges, investor relations, and fund strategy for private investment groups with LP and family equity. He gained early experience in sales, marketing, and entrepreneurship - all focused on the real estate industry.

Nick studied at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte before completing both his B.S. Finance and M.B.A. degrees at Western Governors University. He is a lifelong learning and has continued his education with executive coursework from Columbia Business School (Corporate Finance), Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business (Entrepreneurial Finance), and Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business (Project Management). He holds Real Estate Broker licenses in Georgia, Texas, and California, and has earned the Series 65 credential (Uniform Investment Advisor Law).
